Yeah I've been studying it you know, you learn so much when traveling hahaha. Do they celebrate carnaval in Canada too?? I wonder what that might be like, a tad colder I guess haha
We do have Carnavals and the most important one is the one that happens at the very end of January and last for 2 weeks i the very heart of the winter's cold, in Quebec City, where I'm from. We didn't have wine to "warm us up" but Caribou, a mix of whiskey and maple syrup... ;) 2 major parades, outside, snow sculptures, dances all over town, family snow-play location, giant ice slides, a canoe race across the St. Lawrence river's ice blocks, etc. It is a blast!
