Eating some Viking ice!
At the glacial lagoon I managed to try some Viking ice, which is more than a few thousand years old. The ice originates as snow and it becomes part of the glacier. As the glacier moves, it gets carried to the sea shore where it breaks into iceburgs. The broken bites of ice can be collected and broken into icecubes. Because it's so clean here, you can directly eat the ice or drink water from the lagoon !!
I can imagine how much bacteria you just ate. just kidding. Great post.
