Our Visit to Prague and Ostrava During The Ice Hockey World Championships in Czech Republic 2015
Hello everyone!
I love hockey and one my dreams came true in 2015 when we went to the Ice Hockey World Championships in Czech Republic.
This was my first time in Czech Republic, so we stayed for a couple of days in Prague before we continued our trip to our final destination Ostrava where Finland played their group games.
Prague is wonderful! I liked the city straight away!
Especially the medieval gothic architecture and the cheap beer! :D
I think my favorite building was the St. Vitus Cathedral. Absolutely majestic!
I also remember that I liked the Petřín Park, a very peaceful and relaxing place.
I guess it's a nice location to go to for the Prague citizens, if they want to find some peace.
In Ostrava there wasn't so much to do or see. But they were a good host for the World Championships in ice hockey!
We had a really good time there!
I'm pretty sure I will visit Czech Republic again. Probably Prague, because we didn't have much time to explore the city on our last visit.

Aww, my sweet homeland! (although we actually don´t like Prague in the region where I was born and raised :D) Too bad we didn´t know each other yet back then, I would love to show you around :)

I guess it is a common thing all over the world that people from remote parts of a country don´t like the capital with its self-important residents who often tend to consider everything else except the city a third-world wasteland :D
