Kayaking in Abel Tasman

This was an unforgettable day. The weather was nice, almost no wind, so we hired kayaks and went out for a trip in the crystal clear turquoise water. We went quite far out and suddenly we were lucky to find a lot of sea lions sunbathing and their babies playing all over the place. When we were observing them we noticed that they are very active when it comes to communication. They have plenty of ways to send messages to each other.
Later on we found a "private beach" just for ourselves, we stayed there for a while and had a meal. I remember that we were exhausted after this trip, guess that we weren't used to kayaking and after all it was a pretty long distance for us.
