Thank you for telling me about this stupid mistake I made. I will correct it now :) I found it quite easy to hitch hike. In some parts there were not so many people so it was a bit hard but in general people are very willing to take hitchhikers :)
Great to know! Depending on how things will go this summer (I am planning to hitch from Montecarlo to Barcelona, then a bit in Dominican Republic and Haiti, then the return trip Barcelona or Spain to Italy) I might try it as well in my country. If I go north I usually take a train to the border, if I go east I get a cheap bus to Trieste then a bus to the Slovenian border!
Sounds like a great plan for the summer :) I do not have a plan yet. There is so much ideas and places I would love to visit :)
