The Next Cycling Adventure Touring [Lhokseumawe - Sabang Island] | Etape #3 Top to Zero Kilometer Indonesia.
Hello guys, i'm @bonesumpal . Welcome to my adventurer, enjoy..
Day 4 (August 16, 2013)
A sunny morning in the city of Banda Aceh, we woke up faster and filled with enthusiasm. Success is in front of our eyes, our dreams will be achieved. I and Asbun excuse my friends of nature lovers of SMAK to continue the journey to Ulee Lheue Port. After all the fixtures are already backed up, we continue our bike tour to the harbor. The distance we traveled times quite close that is 30 km with travel time 1-2 hours.
At 12:30 noon we arrived at the Port of Ulee Lheue, I will go to the counter officer to inquire about the Port Head's room. I will see the Head of Ports to take care of the boat ticket, this I do because of our financial condition is running low. Finally the ports gave me 2 tickets for the boat to cross the island of Sabang, departure schedule of the ship that is at 14.00 noon. After that I went to Mushalla for Zuhr Prayer and went straight to the ship.
From port of Ulee Lheue to Balohan Port Sabang takes 2 hours, we use that time to take a total rest in the ship. The first climb from Balohan to Sabang City is waiting, we must be really healthy when passing it.
At 4:00 pm we arrived at Balohan Port, as soon as I got off my boat and Asbun checked the state of the bicycle. I say something to Asbun "Bun, just a little more we will arrive We must be strong and keep the spirit". We really enjoyed the adventure this time, because the adventure of using the bike is my first experience.
With difficulty we managed to get through the first challenge, although we had to repeatedly push the bike on the Balohan ramp. We rested on the top of a hill that we passed while looking at the oceans and small islands off the island of Sabang.
Our time was drained so much by Balohan, we had to arrive at Iboih before sunset or break the fast. At 17.00 we arrived at Sabang City, we immediately went to Iboih. There is one more challenge ahead, that is the climb (Cot Muroeng). This incline is very long and steep, we will pass it.
It was getting dark, the clock at 17:55. We just passed the last hurdle and took a short break at the end of the hill.
After a few minutes of rest, I and Asbun continued to row a bicycle to Iboeh. We arrived at the breaking fast at Iboih, we went to the Mosque to break the fast. There is another in this area, the sound of the Breaking Alarm does not ring and the people calling the azan are not there. We entered the mosque but no one was there, except us.
I asked Asbun to find a place where there was food to break the fast, we stopped at Iboih Police Station. We immediately report and ask permission to rest in the Post, thankfully we are well received by the officers and given food to break the fast. A very enjoyable day.
We were also given a place to sleep by the security guard on the island, he was very happy with us there. Finally we spent the night at Iboih Police Station.
Day 5 (August 17, 2013)
As usual we woke up at 06.00 am to continue the journey, the distance to Zero point of Indonesia is near. Just count the hours we will arrive there and our journey will be over. I tried to wake up the policeman who had helped us, but he was still sound asleep. I wrote a few words "thank you" and a message for him on the blackboard, that said goodbye to the Zero Kilometer Monument Indonesia.
At 07.00 we arrived there, no one was there except us both. We were like a dream, I slapped myself several times whether I was conscious or dreaming.
Our dreams have been achieved, successful expedition activities. We are people they think are crazy, people who are considered sicknesses. But we prove that we are not as they think, we are the adventurer.
Incidentally our moment is very fitting, because August 17 is the Independence Day of Indonesia. The real proof of our love to the homeland is already embedded in our hearts, depending on us how to interpret it. I and Asbun are finished with the photoshoot, we will return to Sabang City to spend the night there again. We want to meet the mayor of Sabang for Sillaturrahmi.
At noon we arrived at Pendopo Mayor of Sabang, we were directed by the officers to wait for the Mayor at the Mosque. We all bathe and clean up there, after that we pray Friday with the Mayor of Sabang.
After the Friday Prayers, we talked a lot with the Mayor about our journey by bicycle to Sabang. Until the Mayor is proud of the achievements we carve at this time. We are invited to break the fast together in the verandah, after which we will look for a camping place.
DAY 6 (Agustus 17, 2013)
Our activities are done, we will return to Banda Aceh. It's hard to leave this beautiful and friendly Island, but we have to go back and let this be a wonderful memory for future generations.
Where there is a will there is a way, that is what we often plant in the heart of each. Confident, steadfast, and patient will make you successful. Thank you, Best adventurer.
