Service is decent but a little cold. We also had some ants on our table by the window. To get service, they have a button at the table which I liked.

3/5 Wet burrito (NT$295)
Chicken wet burrito needed more flavor. It tasted plain with meat, cheese, beans and rice. Heavy on the rice too. They did provide some salsa, but it was also very average. I wouldn't order the burrito again.

My rating would have been 3/5 if these tacos weren't that good, but it boosted the whole experience up to 4/5 on a very strict scale.

The salsa they provided was a little weak and I wanted more of a kick.
Hot sauce is available upon request, they don't have your typical hot sauces lying around. I tried the hot sauce and it was like my mouth was instantly on fire. This was too hot.

The Mexican food here is a little higher than average compared to other mexican food spots in Taipei which is typically NT$180-240. Additionally, they have a 10% service charge rolled into the bill. The bill is in Chinese even though a lot of things are in English at this place.

They have a few TV's playing sports so it is also a Sports Bar in Taipei. There aren't too many of those.

5/5 Tacos (2 tacos for NT$270)
Very tasty tacos with hand made tortillas using blue corn. The meat was seasoned well and all the ingredients were of a high quality. I loved the tacos and would be back for more if they weren't so expensive.

Money In Taiwan

Tax Is Included In The Price

All displayed prices in Taiwan are the actual price. Tax is already included and for large purchases, tourists visiting Taiwan can get a 5% Taiwan VAT refund at the airport Tax Refund counter. Some shops offer this service too, but they will require your passport.

Taiwan Is Cash Only (For Most Small Shops)

The primary payment method for all transactions in Taiwan is cash. It's very rare for small shops to take anything other than cash. It's more common to see places accept the Taipei Metro Card as payment rather a credit card.

Supermarkets and convenience stores in Taiwan (7-Eleven, Family Mart) do not accept credit cards (at least not American credit cards). You can only make purchases by cash or by using your pre-loaded funds on your EasyCard.

Using Credit Cards in Taiwan

If you want to use your credit card in Taiwan, make sure to check if a restaurant in Taiwan accepts credit card in advance. When a place does accept credit card, it will typically be Visa or Mastercard. It's extremely rare for a place to accept Discover and American Express.
UberEats, HonestBee, Deliveroo and FoodPanda are Taipei Food Delivery Services where you can order food directly to your airbnb or hotel using a credit card.

Exchanging Money in Taiwan
