The Beautiful "Hang Sung Sot" (Surprised Cave) in Halong Bay, Vietnam.
Sung Sot cave can be found on Bo Hon Island and is the most spectacular and largest cave of Ha Long Bay. Located inside the cliff face, it is accessed by a steep climb of about 120 stone steps.

However, once you arrive you will be treated to a beautiful cave system many stalactites hanging from the roof of the large space. Coloured lights are used for the stunning visual effect in this cavern. From here, there is a narrow passage which will lead you to the second chamber of the caves, where natural light filters through the openings and bathes the walls. The large skylight opening in the top of this cave is also another way to get in or out of the underground system.
Sung Sot caves covers an area of 10,000 m2. Within the caves there are literally thousands of stalagmites and stalactites. The path weaves its way through about 500 metres of passages. The cave is about 30 metres high and the walls and crevices are evidence of what must be millions of years of spectacular natural creation.
