The UPattaya is quite small containing only 25 rooms and 19 private villas. Without a doubt the best room is the Oceanfront Pool Villa, which also serves as the Honeymoon suite for newlyweds. These villas open direct onto the beachfront with their own private plunge pool and sunken lounge in front to watch the lazy sunsets.

The large open-plan room faces out to the ocean and contains everything you would want including rainfall shower, bath, mini-bar, internet and tv with movies. The room costs about US$900 per night, but I think you will agree it is worth it, especially when they include free champagne and buffet breakfast for 2.

If you ever get a chance to visit Thailand and are looking for a romantic weekend away not far from Bangkok then I can highly recommend this gorgeous hotel. It is where I spent my honeymoon :)
