The restaurant stays true to the Philippine cuisine, but adds the much needed missing variations, herbs, spices and vegetables. They offer delicious and freshly prepared meals and beverages, made with farm-fresh ingredients.

Right after making orders, you will be given a plate of complimentary freshly baked squash bread slices. Wether slathered with honey or pesto spreads, both are delectable and perfect accompaniment. It also comes with cassava tortillas. That audible crunch as you take your first bite can only be outdone by a delicious refreshingly tarty mix of organic chopped green tomato salsa.

This Herb Roasted Chicken is definitely worth trying out. It is terrifically flavorful and tender. The chicken was well-cooked and had a sweetness that lingered for a little while after swallowing. The herb adds taste, but the acid from the lemon ensures that the already tender pieces of chicken will be even more sensational. There’s also a fresh and crunchy vegetable roll, a beautiful delicately dressed salad with wonderful flavors layered inside such as carrot, cucumber, mango, peanut butter and cheese wrapped in lettuce and soft cassava sheets.

I highly recommend the Honey Glazed Chicken, a fresher experience than any other in Bohol served with an organic rice topped with sweet potato bit. It comes with a side dish of their signature organic garden salad with edible flower petals including katuray (corkwood tree), cosmos, ternate, gumamela (china rose) and bougainvillea. The salad was superb with or without flowers, and the honey mustard that came with it was heavenly. The freshness of the leaves and the sweetness of the dressing created this weird, addictive combination.

The restaurant has a long menu of meat, seafood, pasta, and sweets. If you’re game for a full meal and want to taste the best of everything, go for the Farm Buffet.

Organic is always better! They promote traditional farming with the aid of trained farmers, making healthy, organic produce readily available for public consumption. This gem of a farm offers an alternative lifestyle, an experience of interesting smorgasbord of organic delights. The freshest of ingredients are combined to produce a sumptuous food never seen in the market. A healthy option, indeed!

The Buzzz Ice Cream

Dare to be different and fall in love with Bohol Bee Farm’s native flavored ice cream. The manually produced organic ice cream product, which contains natural ingredients extracted from fruits, vegetables, and herbs produced in the farm gained popularity on the local market. It comes in different flavors like durian, malunggay, spicy ginger, dragon fruit, tomato, and many more. Aside from the peculiar flavors, their ice cream are exquisitely creamy. They use their harvested organic honey from their bee farm to sweeten these frozen treats thus giving a certain addicting sweetness with a subtle caramel aftertaste.

Make sure to not miss their best-seller malunggay (horseradish tree) ice cream. It may sound unusual flavor that is not for picky eaters, but trust me, this frozen creamy confection doesn’t taste veggie at all. It is absurdly good! I can vouch for its ice cream goodness. They use a unique local ice cream cone made from cassava called “cab cab”, which lends a nice crunch and doesn’t overpower the flavors of the ice cream. Moreover, the cone nicely hold its crunchy texture even as the ice cream melts. Together, it made for such a perfect dessert to cap your heavenly meal.

The Kape Bee and Bar

Enjoy a cup of Bohol Bee Farm’s original corn coffee, organic wines, a cold beer or a tropical cocktail in an open-air coffee shop. The café also serves homemade carrot muffins and squash muffins to signal customers that they’re serious about sustainability. The Kape Bee and Bar is generally a nice spot to chill at any time of the day or night.

The Bee Farm Tour

There’s a walking tour that starts every 30 minutes from 8AM. This tour walks you through the farm and herb gardens, and is a good introduction to organic farming. You’ll also see their workers in action as they make Bee Farm products. Curious guests can therefore inquire about the bee farm tour where you are able to see firsthand how honey is made.
