Travel Diaries: G'morning From the Islands, Perhentians IV.
Good morning from the islands, Steemit!
Took a walk over to Senja Bay to discuss a few things about our move in a couple days, and explored while I was at it.
Prices at Senja are budget, you pay for the view.
Standard rooms run RM130 without breakfast. This includes hot showers , air conditioning and a fan. Super basic, but doable when you simply need a place to rest the night. A little run down but, everywhere else is sold out!
The chalets are built along a hillside and at different levels, so expect plenty of stairs! The Perhentians are mostly jungle, so also be prepared to see gecko's chameleons, monitor lizards and creepy crawlies hanging out with you on the balcony!
Plans for the day involve the Quiver Dive Shop, which I'm told are the best on Coral Bay.
The ocean is calling, and I must go. 🌊🐠

Fly into Kuala Lumpur, spend a couple days, 1. Take a cab to the Putra bus station and ask anyone to point you in the direction of bus ticket counters. OR, 2. Fly to Kota Bahru (an hour and a half away by bus/cab from Kuala Besut jetty), 3. Fly to Kuala Terengganu and take a bus/cab to the jetty (45 minutes away). Feel free to get in touch for any advice!
