My recent visit to Doel was exciting. Most of the village was empty and a lot of buildings were open. I was not the first one who entered these buildings.

Unfortunately the building is so good to be a haunted house if it is managed and in the cafe for so many times yes the photo is clean even though the motor
Doel is great to walk around. I even recorded a video clip with my old band there at a big empy warehouse. (police showed up when we were packing haha. Apparently they're still owned by someone....)

This is so cool! Where is it?
It's in Doel, a city in Belgium. The place is almost completely abandoned because of a nuclear power plant nearby and the government has been debating for years and years to tear the city down. This made a lot of people just leave the city.
There are very few houses inhabited, they have warning signs and stuffed animals in fornt of the windows to indicate that that home is private and people still live there. The rest of the city is a total ghost town. Many people visit it nowadays for photography and urban exploration. It's looks like time just stopped and the whole city looks like a scene for a horror movie. The cemetry especially, over the years people have put up poems and texts in the cemetry, leading to the surrounding woods ands stuff. Occasionally there are illegal raves or rock shows hosted
That sounds fascination - I would love to have been there for a couple days just to explore too!
That's so amazing! We have some old mining towns that have been abandoned out here but nothing that cool!
That would be my hangout places as a kid for sure. Used to love finding hidden places to tag and explore.
