Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Xujiahui

Courtyard Marriott (万怡酒店) Shanghai Xujiahui has 364 rooms and was open in 2009.

The building outside appearance looks old, but it still has a very good condition when you are inside the building.

At the end of the checking process, I was surprised to learn that all Marriott Courtyard in China offer an Executive Lounge since I never see one in the U.S.

I enjoyed both morning and evening hours at the Executive Lounge at the 23 floor. As a matter of fact, the food, cocktails and wines are better than most Executive Lounge in the U.S. where there is no complimentary wines, sprites, or after-dinner liquor, Bailey's Irish and etc. The taste of Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 (CAMPO LARGO) is very good.

It is also worth mentioning that any waitress would like to offer you to make a Latte, Cappccino, Coffee or other drinks for you, and bring it to your table, if she is seeing you trying to make one.

The Fitness Center and indoor swimming are located at the 4th floor. Please note you have to either bring your own swimming cap or rent one in the fitness center in order to swim there.

The Wi-Fi speed is very good. I will rate this hotel as a 5-star in the Trip Advisor's rating system due to having a nice Executive Lounge as well as a big dining room with 45+ items.

A walking distance from the hotel to the subway station line #9 and #11 or across the street is about 8 minutes or line #1 on the same street for about 5 minutes .
