Those are seriously the best trips though! You say that you wouldn't do it again now, but in a few years, you'll forget the bad things (hopefully!) and you'll just think "Wow, that was a crazy adventure, right?" and before you know it, you guys are cycling across New Zealand!

That's been my experience at least. I just dove 8K miles from North Carolina to Alaska, and I couldn't wait to get out of that gd car! But sitting here 6 months later, and I think "Wow, that was really amazing....I wonder how far it is from Alaska to Labrador?"
