[Travel Photo Blog] Through Awen's Lens Part 8 - The Wild, Wacky, and Delicious in Las Vegas, Nevada!

WARNING: DELICIOUS CHOCOLATE INDULGENCE AHEAD :P

Along the Las Vegas Strip there are countless shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. It can be a daunting task to narrow down where you want to visit during your trip. Having arrived here spontaneously, we had no idea what we were in for. What we left with however, were good laughs and full tummys.

One of our favorite stops was in a store called Stupidiotic. I had noticed the name on a sign the day previous and made a mental note to look for it on our walks. I was curious what kind of store Stupidiotic may be, or what they may sell. It's not every day you see a name like that. Then again, we were in Las Vegas.

Before we even made it in the store, we were greeted by this totally cool hand chair! We couldn't resist the opportunity for a photo. I had never seen a chair like this in person before. My curiosity was definitely peaked.

When we entered the store we were greeted by things like donut seeds, air guitar strings, t-shirts with sarcastic and raunchy graphics, feminist dish towels, an abundance of unicorn accessories, and a portable pizza pouch. My favorite selection of items though, were the books.

The shelves were FULL of fart books. I felt my Dad's energy with me as I perused the selection of body related humor literature (he's a fart expert).

Some of the books contained actual information, and some of them required you to guess which fart came from which part of the world.

My favorite was "Farts in the Wild". Greg and I pressed each fart generating button and tried to guess which fart was which animal. It was hilarious. At one point we mistook a duck fart for a much larger animals. The more you know..

Our next stop, (arguably @i-juggler 's favorite place we visited) was Hershey's Chocolate World! You can't tell at all that he loves chocolate, right?

When we entered the store, we were greeted by towering displays of enormous versions of the candy we had eaten as kids. There were rooms filled with vintage merchandise and candy dispensers reaching up to the ceiling. Two statues held a prominent place within the store. Both depicted the Statue of Liberty. However, one was made out of Twizzler's and the other one was made out of Hershey's chocolate!

Greg was like a kid in a candy store...oh wait..He WAS a kid in a candy store, and nothing was holding him back! I hadn't been feeling well at all. He had been taking such good care of me, it was really nice to see him enjoy himself.

In the center of the store there was a tantalizing display of treats and baked goods that made you drool from across the room. Hershey's candy was incorporated into many delicious forms. There was so much to look at! We couldn't help but grab something for ourselves. We had to eat something anyway, right?

Greg was in charge of deciding which item we would devour, and he had to pick the perfect one.

There it was, the chosen chocolate treasure. Just waiting to be bitten into.

Two Hershey's chocolate chunk cookies filled with the most amazing butter-cream frosting, topped with more frosting and a Hershey kiss, and then drizzled with more melted chocolate. OH. MY. GOD.

You can practically see the adrenaline in his eyes.

We had a lot of fun checking out the wild and wacky stores Las Vegas had to offer. These were just a couple of our favorite stops! There is more Las Vegas adventure still to come, so keep reading for more fun!
