Features Of Istanbul
Istanbul is a very special and beautiful city. Istanbul, Turkey's most advanced and most populous city owned.It has many historical events. All the tourists who came to Istanbul were affected here so it has managed to attract attention continuously. The cultural characteristics of Istanbul do not end with count.I will tell you some of the features of Istanbul.
1 - It connects Asia and Europe. This feature is unique in the World. There are 3 throat bridges on the Marmara Sea. (15th July Martyr Bridge, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge).
2 - Istanbul has 3000 years of history. Many cultures have been hosted. Istanbul addresses all people.(The Byzantine Empire, Ottoman Empire, Roman Empire, Latin Empire, now the Republic of Turkey). In this case, it makes Istanbul unique.
3 - There are people of every religion in İstanbul. Especially Muslims. Islam is the dominant religion in Istanbul. Because of this, istanbul has many historical and beautiful mosques also church. (Suleymaniye Mosque, Eyüp Sultan Mosque, Fatih Mosque, Ortaköy Mosque, Beyazit (Bayezid) Mosque, Sultan Ahmet Mosque, St. Anthony Padua Catholic Church, Hagia Irene Church, St. Pierre Church…).
4 - The sea passes through Istanbul. (Marmara Sea). And Istanbul has a coast of Marmara and the Black Sea. Istanbul's throat adds a unique beauty to Istanbul. It is possible to travel on the ferry in Istanbul Bosphorus. You can eat pretzels on the ferry and throw pretzels on seagulls.
5 - It is possible to live in 4 seasons in İstanbul. It is a rare occurrence in the World. There are many beauty in this situation.
6 - The oldest shopping center in the world is in Istanbul. The name of the place is Grand Bazaar. There are many shops here.
7 - The biggest dome in Istanbul has Hagia Sophia. Hagia Sophia is used as a museum for tourists.
8 - Istanbul's oldest tower is the Galata Tower. You can eat in Galata Tower and you can enjoy the unique view.
9 - The Topkapi Palace is the largest palace in Istanbul. The Topkapi Palace is the oldest and largest of the palaces that can be sunk in the world. The Topkapi Palace was the home of the Ottoman sultans.
I writed some features about Istanbul. I did not mention everything because there are many historical and cultural buildings in Istanbul. All the structures must be examined one by one.
