Great post! Love the facts you share :) As a kid I always dreamed of going to the Colloseum, but now I'm just afraid the great amount of tourists will ruin the dream a bit.
It is very crowded and full of tourists, but if you are lucky and time your visit a bit then you can have some private moments and photos without people. But I totally get what you are saying.
