New Black Mac Donald's Burger
Mc Donalds in Hong Kong introduced a New Black burger - well its a burger with a Black Bun. The bun itself is actually black, died with squid ink and sprinkled with sesame. It costs $35 HKD ( 4.5 USD), its more expensive than the average burger but it doesn't break the bank.
To top this off, this burger is also part of a customizable series, where you can choose what toppings and meat you want in it. The choices are Beef, Chicken and Crispy Chicken. The customization resembles that of the "create your own burger" series, which were discontinued around the globe a few months ago. This new series is called "signature" series and it features a much more limited selection of toppings:
I chose a burger with the black buns, Angus Beef, and Jalopenos sauce set (includes pineapple slice)
Review
- The black bun looks unique but takes pretty regular, like a larger big mac bun. Quite disappointing since its meant to be the star of the show
- The beef is very tasty, much thicker and better grilled than the usual Mc Donald's burger.
- I love having pineapples in my burgers for some reason, so this is a bonus
Hope you guys have this burger in your local Mcdonald's Too!
I'm travelling next week, so follow me for more travel adventures!

Dunno what the deal is with those black buns... but they don't look appetizing to me at all
what about black pasta, do you think that's appetizing?
