The Keukenhof is the largest and best-known floral park in the world, and is not far from Amsterdam. The best time to see the tulip fields in bloom is during the month of April, especially in the second fortnight. Its biological clock is quite accurate, despite the changes that the world climate suffers. In March it is still very early ... and in May it will be late. Although not quite.
We are talking about the largest floral exhibition park in the world, where the production of the 90 largest tulip nurseries in Holland is shown. It is located in Lisse. In its 32 hectares are exposed 7 million bulbs! Tulips, daffodils, roses, orchids and irises. You will feel seduced by an exhibition of colors and perfumes.
Every year, from the end of March to the end of May, some 800 thousand people visit it. It has several pavilions with thematic exhibitions, gardens designed by recognized landscapers and a gallery of outdoor sculptures. If you go to Holland between one of these months, it is impossible that you do not visit this beautiful park.

Being a landscaper myself i understand how much work goes into preparing an event like this.
I think tulips are amazing flowers that look like colour coated in wax.
In tasmania i have seen large feilds of tulips all in one colour and this looks spectacular two.
But you obviously have the right weather for tulips to grow. Ive never seen so many perfect colours.
I have to say that i love the buildings with the windmills they look so authentic and have so much character.
