Trail Morro Dois Irmãos in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

When it comes to adventure and beautiful scenery, the trails of the small mountains of Rio de Janeiro is the right place. This is the trail Morro Dois Irmãos, in Vidigal, is one of the most visited and prestigious trails in the landscape of the largest favela in Latin America (Rocinha) and the entire South Zone of Rio de Janeiro.

It has 1.6km of trail, depending on your physical conditioning can last 2h of climb. Along the way there are some spots where you can stop to admire the view while you rest, eat a fruit and drink plenty of water to hydrate.

Along the way you will find some monkeys that they popularly call "Nico" here in Brazil and they are attracted to people who put bananas in their hands or in the tree to get them closer.

Anyway, there comes a moment of the trail that from so much rise you think it will reach the sky, but it is near the peak of the mountain and about to see the most beautiful thing of the city of Rio de Janeiro. The beach of Leblon and Ipanema, one of the most famous in Brazil and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon.
