The name went from the fact that the settlement was built on the site of the conflagration - where there were only some black hemp. Once a huge village is now in oblivion and is used mainly as dachas.
An elderly woman saw me and came up and asked: "where are all the people?". I answered in the sense that it was not local. She laughed.
- Yes, I'm joking, I just walked through the village - there's nobody. But in the old days there was a school, a hospital, ship every day went to Kostroma. Residents by 8:00 went on it to work. And on the street there lived an employee of the shipping company - "water workers" ...
This tradition began in the 19th century - captains, pilots settled in that place, and these were the richest men of their time. Therefore, the strength of a huge number of stone houses, which I propose to look at their photos. Moreover, there are even stone outbuildings there. This I have not seen anywhere in the agricultural areas of Kostroma ...
Вчера по делам был в костромском районе, селе Чернопенье. Я не знал, что у нас есть такие замечательные и интересные места. Чем-то напомнило Плёс, только без туристической инфраструктуры. Я около часа бродил там с фотоаппаратом...
Название пошло от того, что поселение построили на месте пожарища - где остались одни чёрные пеньки. Когда-то огромное село ныне пребывает в забвении и используется в основном в качестве дач.
Пожилая женщина, увидев меня, подошла и спросила: "а где все люди?". Я ответил в том смысле, что не местный. Она засмеялась:
- да я шучу, просто вот прошлась по селу - никого нет. А вот в старые времена тут была школа, больница, каждый день ходил корабль в Кострому. Жители к 8 часа ездили на нём на работу. А на улице жили работник пароходства - "водники"...
Традиция эта пошла ещё с 19 века - капитаны, лоцманы селились в том месте, а это были богатейшие люди своего времени. Поэтому в силе огромное количество каменных домов, которые я и предлагаю посмотреть на своих фотографиях. Более того, там есть даже каменные подсобные постройки. Такого я не видел нигде в сельскохозяйственных районах Костромы...
