7 Benefits of Travelling in Group Tours

I've done a couple of group visits just as of late. I need to state, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Most of us enjoy solo tours, and have been doing it for a long time. But, there are certainly advantages to joining a group tour as well. I believe I'm in a decent situation to analyze the two, so here goes: the best things about going to a group tour, as considered by me.

1. You get a guide. Someone to show you the way most of the time. All you have to do is absorb the facts from your guide.
2. Since you travel with a group, you make some instant friends. Unlike solo trips, where you long for friends in a foreign country, in group tours, you will always have some friendly people around you.
3. It's safe. Most of the things are taken care of by your guide, and you don't have to deal with language barriers etc.
4. Reassurance for your family. Whenever you are on a solo trip, your family is constantly worried about you. That's not the case when you are with a group of people. They know you have people around you, who will help you if anything goes wrong.
5. You are able to see the best places in the shortest time. Guides know their stuff, and you don't have to waste time searching for that perfect place. You’ll be taken to projects you would never have heard of.
6. You get discounts. Certain places, vehicles etc. cost more when you travel or stay alone as compared to when you are in a group. Companies will be glad to offer discounts when there's a group instead of individuals.
7. Lastly, you have someone to click those perfect photos for your travel adventures.
