sometimes the nature of the place makes you like that ... I know in ny ... we are always in a rush .... and I’m the city sometimes if people are running late ... they will brush you off ... not because they are being rude ...just don’t have time .
True .... well ... I have heard that in general Mexicans are very friendly and happy people .... I know a few here in NY ... that left bc it was either you work in the mines for little to no pay ... or you leave .... so they decided to come to NY .... they are very nice people , but very quiet and to themselves for the most part ... and definitely hard working people as well.
It’s also a place used to foreigners and big on hospitality.... it was/is their main source of revenue .... so they have been accustomed to being hospitable and welcoming .... and it’s something they tend to carry over to their children for the most part ... or at least that could be part of it .
Less friendly to strangers and less open. Less helpful when we'd ask questions, things like that.

Yeah I didn't even classify the people of the city "rude" for that reason. They just weren't as friendly, which is a different thing entirely.

It's definately way friendlier than what say...california was for me. Mexican's in general are a friendly people, but Acapulco seem to be even more so
