3 times per week I make posts about my adventures - my circus work and travels in different countries.
So here is #6 work and travel

Let me introduce myself first. My name is Kapitan Anika (Mur). I am circus artist, dancer, stuntwoman, model, yoga and qigong teacher. I was born in Ukraine and for the moment live in France

Here I want to share with you a little story and photos about an amazing place where I am living now.

It is Ardesh, mountains in South France.

This pictures I took close to Joyeuse, very nice and quiet place. A lot of tourists from Switzerland and Germany comes here in summer time.

It is an amazing place with old medieval cities, beautiful mountains, rivers, forests, chestnut and grape plantations.
All houses here are around 300 years old.

Population of Ardeche is not so big - only around 320 000. For example in our little village only 15 families lives.

Where to go?

There are a lot of things happening here. Concerts, circus performances, a lot of classes and workshops

For shopping we usually go to fleamarket. There are lot of street artists and musician performing- they play gypsy, french music, hip -hop, rock.

Sometimes I like to go to meditate under the bridge.

Everything is so quiet and peaceful here.

I enjoy to watch the fish moving slowly in the water

Food

What can I say about food? French cuisine is one of the best in the world. My favorite is tartiflet and baked fish with wine.
And of course yummy chestnuts- proud of Ardeche. If you come here - definitely must try!

So what do I do here?

For the moment we are working on the show.
Here I introduce some pictures of our french circus team from Marseille (it is 2,5 hours driving from Ardesh)

We do juggling, aerial gymnastic, stilt walking, fire show, and dance performanses

So we are planning to stay here till spring and after move again.
Life is a big journey!
