mainly elderly (over 45) … 1. Indulgent smile at perception of 'elderly' from stand-point of a 23 yr old. I am currently over 45 :)

What a pleasure to read. This is so good. And I think the footnotes from the older version of you really add to the humour and interest. Another thing that sets it apart from other travel-related matter here is the personal angle. So many objective posts about this or that place. It's nice to move away from the omniscient point of view. Loved it!

Fantastic feedback, thanks Anj, can't tell you how encouraging what you've said is! I've really enjoyed doing this wee series but I will take a break once the fifth (final) is up - it's got a bit of a mindfuck ending btw /:O. I can imagine another few series along these lines - from various periods. The joy is in the total immersion in the creative process - time disappears. Need to recharge on this though, and would also like to explore further writings (head buzzes all the time with stuff) and have energy for commenting, which I also enjoy. Phew......! 👍 👍 👍

Recharging: yes, if you're using 100% votes all the time you'll run out of power in no time. If you go to https://busy.org/ you can use a slider to set your vote weight lower. That way you can vote on more things. I usually keep votes on comments to about 5% and hardly ever go over 60% if I find a brilliant blog post.
Yes, I'm like that. My mind's busy on all manner of subjects. Can't stick to just one. That'd feel like work Lol

Thanks Anj, I meant recharging my energy with regards to diary-travel-posts before I'd be able to properly do any more, and head's buzzing with ideas for posts lol. I'm not at the steempower where I get a slider either as @barge's vote is not worth much atm :)
