Dear Friends,
Hanging bridges are very rare and in my state few are available but one of those bridge, the longest one is situated in a place and the purpose of the bridge is such that during heavy monsoon which normally lasts for quite a long time the only approach for a village to the nearby city or town is through this bridge only.
As it is far away and in a hi range location a visit to this place is becomes not so common, especially when it rains. But to see this place when the area was submerged in water was one of my long pending dream.
And while I was returning from a long distance journey from the neioghboring and as I know this particular area was flooded with water I choose this route for my travel.
And please go through the story now...
It was quite warm and sunny when I left my place throughout the highway till I reached close to the hi range area
The place at which the relatively smaller mountain pass starts looked gloomy at around noon time
This is how the landscape looked like as I covered a small peak after two hair pin curve
The GPS in the car displahy showing the hair pin curves
Reached at the base of hanging bridge after which the only access is through water only
The full view of Bridge
People mainly locals walking across the bridge to the village on the other side
A view of the submerged area looking from the bridge
Believe me, this location is same that has been seen on the above photo, taken during an earlier visit.
For you all to know how the area looks like on normal days, photo captured during an earlier trip
I travelled to the other side through the bridge
People using the boat for their day to day life to the remote areas of the village
I left the place and started travelling through the hilly places where it is the tea plantation on both sides
Tea estate on the hill on one side of the road
You can see waterfalls and a not so dangerous turning
A long view of the place I need to cover for reaching home
Another important hanging location just on the side of the highway. Read it here, it is my travel blog.
The force of water falling on the rock
The water flowing crossing the road that travelled to the interior
Beautiful landscape continued for along time in my return, thiose white lines are waterfalls
And I keep on travelling till I reached my destination
Hope you all like it
Warm Wishes

Wow, that is quite a road to travel to get to your destination, yet well worth the journey! I love the shot of the veiw from the hairpin turn. What a interesting and beautiful place to visit! I find it fascinating to see the seasonal changes a place experiences. The bridge looks out of place until you see it during the monsoon season. Great post! :)
Thanks a lot for visiting that page and happy to know that you really enjoyed it.
And appreciate your lovely comments on it too. The trip was really worth at that but the mind goes to the people on the other village who always struggle at that time with very difficulty without proper access to the outer world.
There was some more details I could add. I will make it later...
Happy to meet you here and stay connected...
