The Gran Sabana and Canaima, Edo. Bolivar
The Gran Sabana is inside the Canaima National Park, in the South of Venezuela, in the State of Bolívar. It is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the country, with views just do not get in this place in the world.
This park has two very different sectors. To the East, the Oriental sector, where the Gran Sabana is located and to the West, the western sector, where the Angel Falls and the Canaima Lagoon are located.
Eastern Sector:
The Gran Sabana is a region located southeast of Venezuela, in the Guayanas massif, also to the south-east of Bolívar State, and which extends to the border with Brazil and Guyana. The Gran Sabana has 10,820 km² of extension, and is part of one of the most extensive national parks in Venezuela, the Canaima National Park.1 2 The average temperature is around 20 ºC, but at night it can descend to 13 ° C, and in some of the highest places, depending on the climate, can descend a little more.3 4 The place offers unique landscapes around the world, has rivers, waterfalls and streams, deep and extensive valleys , impenetrable jungles, and savannahs that host a large number and variety of plant species, a diverse fauna, and the plateaus better known as tepuyes.
¿How to go?
To reach the Gran Sabana, you must take the paved road that goes from El Dorado to Brazil, or a plane to Santa Elena de Uairen. To get to the most interesting places, it is advisable to go in a vehicle with 4-wheel drive. Other places like Kavak can only be reached by air
Colonia Tovar, Edo. Aragua
We are facing an authentic German colony outside of Germany, located in the coldest mountains of the Aragua state. This place is only 2 hours away from the capital city, it is currently one of the most visited towns by tourists. It is considered the perfect place to share as a family or as a couple.
A visit to Colonia Tovar, not only gives us a recreation in our view for its beautiful landscapes, its privileged climate with an annual average of 16º centigrade, given by the height of around 1,800 meters.
¿How to go?
To go to the Colony you must first get to the Junquito, you just have to take public transport either from El Silencio (diagonal to Pza. Miranda) or in front of the La Yaguara metro station. (The trip takes approximately 45 minutes).
Right at the main stop of El Junquito, transportation to La Colonia Tovar is taken. The journey takes about 50 minutes.
Another way to get to this little piece of Germany in Venezuela is to take a jeep from the Ruiz Pineda metro station. This route is made through the new distributor Mamera and reaches the Km 16. At the final stop another transport is taken to La Colonia.
Once in La Colonia Tovar, you can visit emblematic places such as La Iglesia, La Plaza Bolívar, The Codazzi Museum, The rustic walks through the fields; as well as craft shops and taste delicacies of German cuisine, among other activities.
The Medanos de Coro, Edo. Falcon
Venezuela is immersed in a series of paradisiacal landscapes, made up of a variety of climates, ecosystems and geological features. The land of the joropo and the sun, thanks to its geographical position, offers beautiful natural settings such as Los Medanos de Coro, located in the north of the state of Falcón.
The Park is constituted in its greater extension by the isthmus that unites the rest of the State with the Peninsula of Paraguaná, in which dominant elements of the landscape appear
¿How to go?
The Falcon state is a site of many contrast, is located in the region Moromoy Park north-western country. You can take a bus from Caracas to Valencia (2 hours) and from there you take another to Chichiriviche. You can take a taxi directly from the Airport, or from the Transportation Terminal, there are also bus lines that go to the town. In this site facing the sea is the Morrocoy National Park (famous for its keys and crystalline beaches), here there are inns, hotels and houses to stay ranging from $ 25 to the most luxurious at $ 100, some include breakfast and dinner. In this place there are beaches but the note is to take one of the thousands of peñeros that leave for the keys ($ 15 to $ 70 per boat up to 8 Pax depending on the route).
Puerto la Cruz, Edo. Anzoátegui
This city is one of the biggest tourist attractions of Venezuela. The beaches that are on the outskirts of the city, such as Isla de Plata, Conoma and Arapito, have great beauty, being the gateway to one of the most beautiful parks in the country, the Mochima National Park. From its port, the main ferry that links Margarita to the mainland departs, and you can also sail to the islands that surround the city, including Las Chimanas, Cachicamo and Borracha.
It is one of the best known places in Venezuela, because it has many tourist attractions and an important hotel infrastructure. This port has some beautiful beaches that visit them only causes to stay in them.
¿How to go?
Executive Express Aero in the area of Campo Alegre (near the Altamira metro) this has the advantage that it arrives at the ferry terminal. I recommend you visit the Tourist Complex El Morro-El Morro and Dairies. With these three lines you do not need to move to the east terminal that is on the outskirts of CCS very far from the Maiquetía airport which is located in Vargas about 35km from Caracas and more than 55km from the airport.
The Waters of Moises, Edo. Sucre
It is a pleasant refuge for wildlife made by the hand of God and modified by the hand of man for the enjoyment of tourists. The tourist complex is an oasis made up of 9 pools of spring water of blue color, white sand and mud with healing properties, surrounded by gardens of olive green and flowers of multiple colors. These lagoons are made up of waters that come from wells with crystalline sulfur, in them they decant large quantities of medicinal mud with high contents of calcium, sulfur, potassium and with an ideal temperature for swimming and playing in the water. They have several waterfalls that adorn them, palm trees and an environment saturated with tropical and pharaonic elements that make up a very special idyllic landscape. It is a huge spa where you can enjoy all the natural pools. This spa is one of the most important tourist sites in the state of Sucre.
This beautiful tourist complex is located in the Sucre state via Casanay, it is a spa with mineralized waters with a large area and a great variety of pools and waterfalls.

This beautiful tourist complex is located in Sucre via Casanay passing through the toll, in front of the power plant (If you go in the direction of Cumanà towards Carúpano), in the opposite direction, it is located after the Alcabala.
The trip begins at the entrance of this complex, where you will find statues or sphinxes of many meters of high Egyptian type, just under ten minutes (by vehicle) there is a box where you pay to enter, it is not expensive (us $ Ten per vehicle)
My recommendation is to go very early to enjoy this spectacular tours, as it is quite large (approximately 180 hectares). The complex is divided in stages and has parking for the shelter of the vehicle.
