我们来了之美国游记 Part 6--在神圣的华尔街找寻铜牛雕塑。United States, here we came! part 6-- Finding the Charging bull in Wall Street.

来到纽约，不得不去到有着全世界的金融中心之称的华尔街，这是一条位于下曼哈顿的狭窄街道，全长不过500米，宽仅11米。
Coming to New York, if you only have time to do one thing, you must go Wall Street. It is the financial center of the world, Wall Street is a narrow street in lower Manhattan, and it was only 500 meters long and 11 meters wide.

在大家的记忆里，应该都记得华尔街上有个著名的铜牛，其实铜牛并不在华尔街上，而是在与华尔街斜交的百老汇大街上。
In your memory, you should remember that there was a famous charging bull on Wall Street. But this time I find it actually is not on Wall Street, but on Broadway.

这个铜牛创作的时空背景是1987年美国股市崩盘的时期，由默迪卡设计的。2004年设计时把这只铜牛竞标售出，胜利的得标者虽然得到了这只铜牛，但是最后他决定把这个铜牛永远留在广场中央，供游客们欣赏。
The background of the charging bull was designed by Modica in the 1987 which is the year stock market crash. In 2004, the bull was sold in a bid, but the winning decided to keep the bull in the middle of the square for visitors to take photos.

华尔街铜牛是力量和勇气的象征，喻义只要铜牛在，股市就能永保牛市。虽然这是美好的愿望，但是游客们对铜牛的喜爱程度完全不减，连铜牛的屁股也受到股民的热捧。我也抓紧时间拍拍铜牛的屁股。
The Wall Street charging bull is a symbol of strength and courage, and people think the existence of charging bull can make the stock market to sustain a bull market. Although this is just a good wish, the tourists still love the bull very much, even the ass of the bull has been warmly received by the shareholders. I also take time to clap the ass of charging bull.

Wall Street英文直译过来就是墙街，这么看真的非常形象。两边的摩天大楼林立，楼群规整又密集，走在中间的街道就像走在2面墙中间。
The literal translation of Wall Street is the walls on street, it's really an image. The two sides of the skyscraper are lined up, the buildings are neat and dense, and walking in street in the middle is like walking in the middle of two walls.

虽然在中国随处可见高楼，但是纽约的高楼让人感觉更有历史感和殖民特色，街上既有古典风格的欧式建筑，也有现代化的玻璃外墙建筑，新老风格的建筑就汇聚成了纽约独特的城市风景。
Although it's very common to found in the similar building in China. However, the building in New York, let people feel more history and colonial characteristics. Except the European classical style building in the street, there is also a modern glass wall, the building of the new and old style of architecture has become a unique urban landscape of New York.

道路两旁是玻璃幕墙闪闪发光，西装革履的男士和身穿时装的女士，拿着公文包，进出高楼大厦，眼前是一幅高雅、时尚的美国现代生活场景。
Road on both sides is glass curtain wall, suit men and the ladies dressed in fashion, holding a briefcase, go in and out of the high-rise buildings. The front is a elegant and fashionable modern American life.

眼前这个就是帝国大厦勒，它建成于西方经济危机时期，后来成为美国经济复苏的象征，如今仍然和自由女神一起成为纽约永远的标志。
This is the Empire State Building, which was built during the western economic crisis. It becames a symbol of America's economic recovery, and remains a permanent symbol of New York with the statue of liberty.

帝国大厦在世界世贸中心兴建之前，一直都是纽约最高的建筑，并且很长一段时间甚至是全球最高的建筑。后来在2001年世界贸易中心倒塌，帝国大厦再次成为纽约的第一高楼。站在帝国大厦的面前，感觉到了自己的渺小。。。
Before the world trade center was built, it was the tallest building in New York City, and it was the tallest building in the world for a long time. Then, in 2001, the world trade center collapsed, and the Empire State Building became the tallest building in New York again. Standing in front of the Empire State Building, I feel people is small...
