Vourvourou. Caridi Beach

It's winter here. It's cold and snowing. And it's time to remember Vourvourou and Caridi Beach.

Vourvourou is a place on the eastern coast of Sithonia, Halkidiki, Greece.

The whole coast is occupied by camping sites, hotels and guest houses. Here and there it is proposed to rent boats, from conventional plastic, on oars, to a real schooner.

But we were interested in a beautiful beach. Beach of Caridi. The beach was paved with an asphalt path, passing among the pines. Seen the sea and we stop. It was evening.

The sun disappeared behind the clouds, but the sea was beautiful. It washed the unusual rocks, for eternity cutting through in them the bizarre forms. Over the rocks there were many different colors and greenery. The smell of the sea complemented the picture.

A strip of fine white sand joined the rocky toe, forming a lagoon with emerald water. Athos was visible in the distance. Silence and peace. And I did not want to leave at all.

It was evening and we decided to spend the night in Vourvourou and return here in the morning. And they did. In the morning the sun rose and began to burn. The sea became even brighter and more beautiful.

In general, I recommend everyone to visit Vourvourou and Karidi beach. Excellent place, spend the weekend.
