Every weekend I'm looking for new short trip.

Kostroma region borders on Ivanovo region. These areas are separated by a large river. This is the Volga River.
I live in Kostroma on the left bank of Volga and Ivanovo region is located on the right bank. We have bridge in Kostroma but sometimes there's a traffic jam on it. It happends when repair works take place. Yesterday was such day. There was one big jam on the bridge and I decided to find another way via Volga.

There's one more bridge in Kineshma city. I made a post about Kineshma recently.

To drive to Kineshma there are two roads. The first road leads via such cities as Sudislavl and Ostrovskoe. This road leads vis Kostroma region. It road tooks about 1.5 hours to reach the bridge.

There's one more road. This is very beautiful wich leads by bank of the Volga. It's beautiful. You can see Plyes city from the left bank of Volga river.
There is one problem with this road. There's no asphalt on it in the most part. This is a dirt road.

I didn't know it and I decided to drive over the road near Volga. The road was hard but very beautiful.

A lot of landscapes can be seen there. I was happy to see a lot of greens near the road.

Especially I liked the big puddles near the road. These are the consequences of large snows that have just melted.

From time to time the road gives you the opportunity to enjoy the views of the Volga. You can see the beautiful town of Plyos.

On all small rivers are fishermen. A lot of fishermen. I rode and envied them. It's so cool to sit with a fishing rod on the river bank and look at the float. The sun shines, the heat, the fish in the river, there are almost no mosquitoes.
