Lake Como

Lake Como (Lago di Como [ˈlaːɡo di ˈkɔːmo] or locally [ˈlaːɡo di ˈkoːmo] in Italian, also known as Lario [ˈlaːrjo], after the Latin name of the lake; Lagh de Còmm [ˈlɑːk de ˈkɔm] in Lombard; Latin: Larius Lacus) is a lake of glacial origin in Lombardy, Italy. It has an area of 146 square kilometres (56 sq mi), making it the third-largest lake in Italy, after Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore. At over 400 metres (1,300 feet) deep, it is one of the deepest lakes in Europe, and the bottom of the lake is more than 200 metres (660 ft) below sea level.
Lake Como has been a popular retreat for aristocrats and wealthy people since Roman times, and a very popular tourist attraction with many artistic and cultural gems. It has many villas and palaces (such as Villa Olmo, Villa Serbelloni, and Villa Carlotta). Many famous people have had and have homes on the shores of Lake Como.

I visited Lake Como in the early spring.
This place was chosen by aristocrats and made a good impression. After drinking local red wine and biting a delicious pasta, I went out to walk along the lake.
The sun quickly descended the hill and it became dark. But a few minutes beforehand gave me the opportunity to take a few photos of this place.
If we talk about the lake itself, it is less than Lake Garda, but not devoid of charm. The rocks surrounding the lake's water look very beautiful in the rays of the setting sun.
The water in the lake is very clear.

Lake Como (Lago di Como) is considered one of the most beautiful natural wonders of Lombardy. Located 40 kilometers from Milan, Como has become a favorite holiday destination for both Italians and foreign tourists.
In addition, the beauty of this mountain reservoir is forever imprinted in films that have gained worldwide popularity: "Star Wars", "Ocean's Twelve", "Casino Royale".

Nice photos. It's just 10 minutes form my home so I get to enjoy it regularly!

Wow! How lucky you are!

How's life there? I was in Milan in april. It was Isaloni (furniture exhibition). While I was driving from Milan to Como I felt a beauty of nature and design on Italian people. Is it a legacy of the Renaissance?

You captured morning, afternoon, evening and night mood. It's better to show beauty of Lake Como. I love to visit things and i am learning too much on steemit community.

Which camera are you using for capture? Night version is fabulous.

I use Canon 5d Mk II. I had to tripod that night. Couldn't use super long exposure.

Ahh alright, Canon 5d showed best result also. Good.
