Thoughts of rain somehow flow to the city of rains - St. Petersburg.

Once, in the same ugly weather, we got into the car and headed west. The goal is a city on the Neva river, and in addition, the running of the child to a great distance. We planned an auto trip to Europe, and wanted to make sure that a run of 1000 kilometers at a time would not bring any surprises.

From Kostroma to St. Petersburg, you can get there by two main routes. The first is to get on the Moscow-Petersburg route, moreover, you can do this by getting to Moscow and from there already rush to St. Petersburg, or you can drive along the road through Cherepovets city. This is a new road, fast, not heavily loaded and without settlements.

I decided to go in one direction classically, according to M-11 (Moscow-St. Petersburg), the truth is not through Moscow, but through Yaroslavl-Uglich-Tver. Those. I decided to cut and drive around Moscow. The small paths in the area between Yaroslavl and Tver are pretty good quality. They are empty and allow you to go confidently following the speed limit to the maximum.

In general, the road, if not for repairs on the M-11, seemed quite easy. Looking ahead, I will say that the return route from Novaya Ladoga to Cherepovets turned out to be wonderful. Good, wide, new road! I flew there like a bird.

Well, and of course, hello, Peter!

I left my Kostroma city under the sound of rain, and here in Petersburg the weather is just for the tourist! Blue sky and clouds.

I would say that St. Petersburg is the most European city in Russia. Every time I admire his imperial greatness! Of course, it has the wrong side, but it does not matter. it always meets with a facade, and the facade is magical!

We settled in a hotel, converted from a house. On the ground floor there is an Italian cafe. It turned out very good ...

And walk! I do not want to tell anything about sights, it's a separate story for each point, and I'm not strong, however, in the history of Peter's culture. Just want to show photos and recommend to go to St. Petersburg!

Naturally, take a stroll along the embankment. Stare at the Neva. You can ride on the boat along the Neva river and through the canals.
