This time I gave the navigator a rest and leaned back in a fully-laid out seat to sleep peacefully. I myself looked at the map and chose a place near the lake. Mountains and the lake - what could be better. Is that the mountains and the sea, but the sea is left somewhere behind.

So - the route is built. The navigator shows where to steer and again ran the kilometers of the route. The town I went to is called Ioannina.

Ioannina (Ιωάννινα, Ioannina, or Γιάννενα) is a city in the north-west of Greece, in the name of Janina. The capital of Epirus. The population is 80 831 people. (2011). Located on the shore of Lake Yanina.

Not very long, on a good, albeit rather narrow road, we slipped the distance from Arta to Ioannina. Around there were beautiful green fields and white caps of mountains somewhere in the distance.

Yanina met cordially. There was a place where to park, that, after Thessaloniki and Athens - very nice. We got out of the car and walked a little bit around the city. I saw Grandpa, who was selling cheese pie in Tiropita and so wanted to try what I took and bought. The old man took a big knife and cut off a large piece of cheese cake, then wrapped it in paper and handed it to me, adding a few more napkins. And my co-driver, she acted smarter. She took the gyros. This is such a shaverma in pita with sazyak sauce and french fries. It was even cheaper than a pie - only 2 euros. But I could not not taste the cheese cake! Especially with this name - Tiropita!

Ioannina is a pleasant place. We walked along the streets and went out to the lake.

The sun was baking, a light breeze was blowing from the lake, people were walking. It was nice to walk along the waterfront.

But, here we are again in the car and go to the place of our new overnight stay. How clever my wife manages to find the best option in booking! She does it just virtuously. It would be possible even for money to sell such its ability. Keeping in mind a number of important criteria, she still manages to read and compare reviews. There are no errors. If she chose a hotel, then you can rest assured - it will be good.

Well, it remains only to enter the address in the navigator and follow its instructions. Quite quickly we drove through Ioannu and got into the suburbs. The place is called Perama.

In fact, this is the area of ​​Ioannina, located on the western shore of the lake, on a small hillock. The place turned out to be tourist, as there was a large cave in Perama. And our new hotel is 30 meters from the entrance to the cave.

The cave did not interest us. When you first get into the cave - it is interesting, unusual and attractive. When the second, third, fourth - it's not so interesting ... And then, it seems, let it be ... This cave ...

We parked near the hotel on a narrow street. At that moment a vigorous old man jumped out of the next shop and began to ask something hot in Greek. Well, it's completely unclear what exactly. I tried to find out what had happened, but in English. As a result of communication, when he found out that we were "russia," he jabbed me with a knotted finger and asked "orthodox?". I nodded ... "No! Orthodox! ". And that's all! A little crouched to us this old man ... Orthodox! Our!

We went into one of these shops and the wife decided to buy an icon for her mother. She chose the one that was more suitable, and I took some photos in the shop itself. The chief, the owner of the family and his son worked here. We talked so much that our son gave us another plastic plate, which he brought from Turkey. Of course, funny, but nice ...

After we finished the communication in the store, we climbed to the very top of the hill, under which there is a cave. From the top opened a chic view of the lake and the town of Ioannina.

Yet Greece is a beautiful place.

After walking, we went to the hotel. The entrance to the rooms was through a cafe. Young people sat in it and watched television. I decided to join them, brought some beer and offered them a drink.

The guys thanked, but refused. They watched the sport immediately through two channels. On one - football. On the other - basketball. In every match the Greeks played. And they both blew. At the table there was communication, to which I quickly connected. It was funny to watch it all ... When the controversy about football turned into a debate about what is better than an Iphone or Samsung. And when one of the people at the table took out a smartphone from Xiaomi, then everything mixed up ...

I asked, but how about you here about the wine. What is it worth to buy what to bring to Russia. A guy who was like a manager in a hotel, said: "Wait, my friend will be coming soon." He's a bartender. He will definitely tell you everything !.
