Sensations, almost like from Provence

I went to the village to my parents. The last kilometer of the road leads through the forest and birch grove. Very beautiful place at any time of the year. There is one big old birch that I always take pictures of. It will be necessary to make a selection of photographs of this tree at different times of the year. It's very beautiful, but today it's not about the birch.

I'm going along this expensive through the grove and look, everything is violet-pink. Sensations, like in Provence - lavender fields, only a little bit brighter. I do not know what these flowers are, but from the outside they are just like a carpet! I could not stand it, got out of the car and started shooting. Immediately, mosquitoes attacked me!

And, mosquitoes ar every evil. So far I've made a few shots bitten me a dozen times. I, for some reason, really hurt. You can say that these photos are washed by my blood :)

I did already post about lavender fields in France, but I would like to show again right here those photos.

And again, our Russian fields.. These seem to be even more abrupt? What do you think? By the way, can anyone say how these plants are called.
