The Fort San Pedro in Cebu City
Hi Steemians!
Today, I will take you to one of the places I have been ,which is the Fort San Pedro. It is located across Plaza Independencia where our company held our own Amazing Race contest. I will post some pictures of our Amazing Race on the next blog.
Fort San Pedro is a military structure in Cebu, Philippines built by the Spanish under the command of Gobernador-Heneral Miguel Lopez de Legazpi in 1565. Many tourist come here whenever they visit Cebu.

Here is the entrance hall filled with pictures of how Cebu was discovered and established by the Spanish rulers as well as its history.
I've learned about this place and its history in the textbooks in school, but it's quite different when you see it real. It's like I was there seeing how things took place and how it started.

Today, Fort San Pedro is also a good location for pre-nuptials, birthdays, debuts, event functions and many others.
