A visit to famous Caleruega church in Nasugbu Batangas - A Dominican church
Caleruega is the most famous wedding church in all of Tagaytay and it is also a great retreat place. Within the church compound are complex routes to have other activities and sight seeing.
It was a 2hr trip from Marikina, Metro Manila going to this church destination. We left at around 5am via South Luzon Expressway. We took the Sta. Rosa exit and drive pass Tagaytay going to Nasugbu. We got there by 7am just when the doors open.
Caleruega got its name from a Spanish town. This church is also manned by Filipino Dominican priests. Mass on Sundays are only from 11am.

We had an exceptional feelings the 1st time we‘re there.We just stay at the church entrance for sometime and I felt something solemn and holy. The breath-taking views of trees and plants and flowers are so natural and eye captivating.
The weather is cold and windy. It gives shiver deep down to the bones.
All I‘m wishing now is to visit the wonders of the place again even I‘m alone & reach the bottom of that wonderful amazing experience and heavenly given paradise.

That is a beautiful location! How cold was the weather? It looks warm.
Thank you. It was around 68F. We are in a tropical country so we are not used to snow here but 20 degree Celsius below is already considered cold :) Baguio city is the coolest part of the country temp can dip to 4Celcius or 39F.
Wow! We have had temperatures here 40 degrees below zero Fahrenheit. That doesn't happen often, but it does occur. In summer it can get 100 degrees F.
Same here, summer can also reach 100F and when that happens it so hot and our skin feels sticky because of so much sweat :)
