Crimean Italy

The Roman road or the Kalendra trail goes back to the 1st century BC.

It's already more than 2000 years old, but it's still there and still people are walking along it

Fabulous places. Always when traveling by such paths wait for a mysterious creature or ghost to meet :)

I'm lucky to be born in Crimea

Да это так

Меня всегда восхищают подобные вещи. 1 век до нашей эры!!!! Сколько всего видела эта дорога!!!

иногда, когда я по ней иду, мне кажется что я встречу за углом всадника, или воина в латах и с копьем

great photo, can you tell me where this is specifically?

It's between Foros and Balaklava in Crimea, Russia

Its amazing how many things are still there from the romans. They have plenty of them in roma as well but not all of them are given that much importance. It is a cool feeling to walk on a road that is 2000+ years old though. Have a nice day! :)

Thanks for sharing the picture

You're welcome

Yes, indeed. Also it's great thing to have such an ancient place in a virgin condition
