5 tips for a perfect trip
We all want to travel more and have memorable experiences. To do that, organizing is crucial. Here are 5 tips I use whenever I prepare a new escape:
Plan your trip
Planning your trip is essential. Once you have your destination, you can start your research. Before looking for the airfares or accommodation, check the weather for that location. You don’t want to get there during a cold winter, rainy or hurricane season. Any of these natural phenomenons have the potential to ruin your stay.
If you do not want to involve a travel agency, you can start searching for your flights and hotels.
There are several tools and apps that can help you get the best prices for your period on that location. I use the following websites to monitor the best promos:
Besides, there is another app I like called Hopper which is available in both AppStore and GooglePlay. I’m not a big fan of www.skyscanner.com, although I consult from time to time their website.

Get ready
Prepare your documents and get your vaccines.
In most of the countries you will need a valid passport. If you have one, make sure it is still valid. Visa requirements could apply; make sure you check the requirements on the local embassy website and apply for a visa a few weeks before the trip. Failing to get the visa could mean the end of a trip that hasn’t even started.
See a doctor before you travel. In some countries, especially in Africa, vaccination for some maladies is mandatory. You could need a vaccination certificate in order to be able to enter that country. Also, some diseases are really dangerous, so you might consider having the recommended vaccines.
If you are arriving at a late hour, you could ask the hotel or the B&B receptionist to book a shuttle for you. In most countries, there is no public transport after midnight, except cabs and sometimes is not really safe. Make sure, you check the airport-hotel transport options before getting to the destination.
Make a wish list
Every country has a lot of things to offer. It is impossible to see everything in a couple of weeks. Think about the most important things you want to see and put them on your list for that trip. It can help you save time as you can book the tickets online and avoid queuing for hours. In some cases, you can even have additional discounts if you book the entry tickets online.

Pack your bags
If you are traveling with a low cost company, a huge luggage means extra costs. Most of the items people are taking on vacations are not even useful. Try to get only the items that are really needed and leave some free space for shopping at destination. You don’t want to miss a good deal.
If you are going to an exotic destination, do not forget about insects repellent solutions.
You might consider rolling-in your clothes in order to make more room in your baggage, like in below video:
Enjoy your holiday
Once you get to the destination, make the most of your holiday. Try not to worry about unexpected things and enjoy every experience you have there.
