Live our trip # 1: Mucubaji Lagoon, Merida Venezuela

Join me in this series of trips that I had the joy to live and the fortune to photograph, where I will share some information, anecdotes, recommendations and most importantly beautiful photographs for your enjoyment, joins this adventure my beautiful wife Anais Venegas (@anaisvenegas).
In this opportunity I will show you the Mucubají Lagoon, which is located in Venezuela, specifically in the State of Mérida.
The state of Merida is one of the most beautiful in Venezuela, full of dreamy landscapes, its Capital Mérida is called the city of knights, due to the hospitality and good treatment that characterizes all its inhabitants.
Its main landscapes include the Mucubají Lagoon, which is located in the Sierra Nevada National Park, also known as Big Lagoon, has a perimeter of 2300 meters, an area of 26.46 hectares, a length of 785 meters, a width of 448 meters, with a maximum depth of 15.5 meters, volume of 1,500,000.00 meters, is located at an altitude of 3540 meters.
Swimming in the lagoon is not allowed.
It's really cold, the average temperature is 2 °C.
In the Mucubají Lagoon you can take horse rides, walks to marvel at its extraordinary landscapes and even catch a trout.
In the next opportunity we will continue visiting the State of Merida, where you can enjoy landscapes of Pico el Aguila, Páramo of the culata, I will show you theme parks such as Venezuela de Antier, Los Aleros, among others.
