It's a cool Saturday to visit the Singapore Zoo today

It's a cool Saturday to visit the zoo today :) Literally cool because it rained earlier in the day. It would have been really warm and humid at the zoo so being able to walk around and see the animals in a cool weather is such a blessing.

Her ride today :) In case you are wondering, nope, that's not a real tortoise.

This is a real giant tortoise and it's older than me, by quite a bit, it's over 60 years old.

Free roaming animals are all over the zoo and here's a free roaming family of orang utans.

I think the concept of free roaming animals around the zoo is really great both for the animals and visitors. Not sure if other zoos adopt the same concept and I think Singapore did a fantastic job making the experience both safe for the animals and visitors.

If you happen to visit Singapore, be sure to make a trip to its award-winning zoo, it will be quite an experience :)

We are all on a journey, remember to enjoy the sights and sounds along the way, and do good as often as you can and as much as possible.
