We've taken view days off, packed the car with the camping equipment and took off towards Corsica. To keep it easy and relaxed we've divided the trip into several parts.

Part 1: Berlin (Germany) - Amden (Swiss Alps):

Loaded with everything that we need to survive on one of the camping spots in Corsica :)

Total destination to the ferry that will take us over the Ligurian Sea straight to Corsica. First stop shall be Amden in Switzerland.

Today we planned to travel 800km from the total 1500km. Luckily, we did not have any serious traffic jams on the Autobahn. The longest we had to stroll around was about 15 minutes. Pure luck i would say, considering that we left Berlin around 2pm on a Friday!

A lot of people wonder how am i able to afford all the travelling and vacations. The secret is that i don't go on vacations, i only change my working environment.

Since we are two drivers, it was easier to take the 800km without any major breaks. Around 11 hours after we left Berlin, we finally were about to arrive in Amden. Even if we were taking it easy on the road, it still was very exhausting.

We checked in at 2 am in the morning and were kindly asked to go to bed (yes :) since all other hotel guests were already sleeping and enjoying the silence of the place. First i thought it was a rude, next morning as i saw the view i understood what the magic is all about:

That brown house in the right lower corner of the picture is our hotel. The magic is that up there you don't hear any cars, planes or truck. Only nature...

and neighbors dog greeting the strangers early in the morning.

It was an amazing place. Mind blowing. After a short light breakfast it was time to explore the village.

It's a great place to be. So great, that we stayed one more night.
