Green and wonderful land? Or on the other hand the most happening place on the planet? Britain is especially both. In London, it has ostensibly the coolest city on the planet, buzzing with the best theater, nightlife and shows. Its field is picture-postcard consummate, from the moving chalk slopes of the South Downs to the desolate pinnacles of the Lake District, the sandy sounds of Cornwall to the enormous blue skies of Norfolk. The northern urban areas of Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle are worldwide social touchstones, gifting the world time characterizing music and craftsmanship. It might be little, yet England keeps on being a major hitter
Yes a lot of people knock England, our green and pleasant land, but as you rightly say there are some great places. A place to add to your list, that I hadn't visited until last year, is Northumberland. It truly has some of the best beaches I have ever seen. Ever. And many of them were absolutely empty. OK, it was October but still, it was lovely weather. If you ever get the chance, please go and visit. If you have a dog, definitely go and visit!
