Assalamualaikum and good day Steemians,

Few days ago we went out to find Cendol Durian.Upon few suggestions on Facebook and Google, we stop by at Kedai Rojak & Cendol at Medan Selera Demila, Seksyen 24, Shah Alam.

Cendol is a desert, made out of shaved ice, brown sugar, green jelly and coconut milk. Its commonly eaten together with rojak or pasembor. And Durian is the South East Asia king of fruits, some hate it for its smell and some love it.

But at this place, its not your ordinary roadside cendol. You have 100 types of cendol to choose from !

Making decision what cendol to eat is already tough, then you have to endure for the price on the Durians. It cost RM22 for the Durian cendol, 10 times higher than the ordinary roadside cendol. By the it is a good quality Durian, known as D24. And we were told, the price varies according to types and season.

On this occasion we ordered 2 special cendols, one with a durian and another with glutinous rice.

And a plate of rojak buah, a fruit salad with mangoes, pineapple, guava with black spicy sauce top with peanuts.

Personally I still prefer the mamak roadside cendol, maybe because its much more simple and refreshing. And the ice ration and the sweetness it not my taste. And the glutinous rice is way too much.
