Welcome to New Zealand!#3

We came with @etka to New Zealand with the work and travel visa for a year. In August 2017 we arrived at Auckland, bought a car and started our unforgettable and life changing road trip.
The minute you go out the plane and meet the Kiwis and their land, you fall in love. Walking around the country you just see smiles and lovely people always willing to help. There is a big environmental consciousness and you can feel the love for Nature. This is a country with healing energies, where you just feel safe wherever you go.

Our Visa ended but a piece of our hearts will always be there. We wanted to show you this magical country so you can fall in love like we did.

New Zealand is integrated by many island. The bigger ones are the North Island and the South Island. To go from one Island to the other you have to cross by ferry, a fun trip with nice views when you arrive. This one is from Wellington, NZ capital.

New Brighton, Canterbury. Water here is frrrreeeeezing cold, so I just focused on doing sand mandalas, my obsession. :D

Drive with care, animals are quite often on the roads... its one of those things that make it magical!

A common thing to see in Kiwiland is the honesty box. It is absolutely beautiful to live in a place where there is so much trust.

Qualiburn, Canterbury

Face of two weeks of travel, camping, sleeping in the car, NZ roads... but finally we made it to our great friends birthday (so a little hangover too) in Queenstown!

We spoiled ourselves with a nice view.

The very first day we fall in love with Queenstown <3

Thanks to Sole and her birthday, that day we got offered to stay in our dream house.

Everything we always talked about, imagined and visualized before the trip became true. Our year in this house was pure magic. With a pond and ducks, sheeps and chickens, a veggie garden and a 10 min walk from the Shotover River, we felt in paradise.
