Toji Temple, Kyoto Japan (Original Content)
Toji-in Temple in Kyoto Japan
Located near our hostel was this amazing Buddhist temple which dates back to 796.
It is one of three Buddhist temples from the Toji-in era of the Heian period and the only surviving temple of the three.
During Autumn they light up the temple grounds at night. We were sad to miss the night show :(
The grounds features a decorated Koi pond.
This five story pagoda is the tallest wooden tower in Japan. It was built during the Edo period.
It's quiet and very tranquil. If I were to come again, I would bring a book and stay for several hours.
The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.
Keep enjoy😊
Amazing place. I envy you.
