Dravinja Valley and Pohorje / Slovenia

The hills of Pohorje are one of the oldest hills in Southeast Europe, they are full of wildlife and nature. Here are one of the oldest Forests of Slovenia.

Yesterday i went on a quick trip to the beginning of the hills as i live like 7km southern of them.
I decided to make a video of the Church Neža that lies at the beginning of Pohorje.

Here is the church of Brinjeva gora, which is the oldest and biggest church in this area. I really like the position of these churches and the colours of the fall brings a smile on my face :).

Under Pohorje lies the Valley of Dravinja, where we have the town Slovenske Konjice, which literally means Slovenian Horses.
Here are some photos of the Town, the most famous wine yards of Škalce and of the Pohorje hills.

This Town and its wine yards are really important for the Valley and historically was this Valley important for Slovenia as there were roads built by the Romans and on the hill of the Church Neža you can still find 3000 years old artefacts.
