Most spectacular bluest and clearest water I have ever seen -photo journey and dtube video!
Dear steemit friends,
Thank you for the lovely comments on my previous posts!
Today I want to share some of the photos from our snorkelling trip in the Maldives. One of the great thing about not staying in the resort but in local island is that we can afford to visit around the islands .I love visiting around maafushi on a speedboat , it was different adventure everyday.
Never get tired of this view , I was like always pinching myself , am I really in heaven ? Oh well , I guess it must be like this anyway.
Some of the shallow water, that you often see while traveling the indian ocean in the Maldives.
To be honest, there aren't lots of lots of fishes, but who care when the water is so clear like this.
But they do have never ending coral reefs! Exploring the corals has been one of my favourite travel moments in the world. Since I am not a good swimmer or able to free dive, I was sad to not able to go down deep in the water.
Our maldivian friend and boat of the day, we shared with a few other people . And it costed around $20 per person for the snorkeling trip. There are a few snorkeling trip available like finding whale sharks, dolphins, turtle and it can be arranged as half day or full day out in the ocean.
High on life!
This is the usual view while traveling in the maldives, as you can spot the shallow water not far from the very deep water..
And you will have unlimited sunshine. What more do we need?
Did these photos convince you to visit the Maldives yet? Let me know in the comment!

oh I check. thank u
It sounds and LOOKS like a great adventure.
I found your comment about staying on a local island to be interesting. A few years back, I had thought about going to the Maldives, but after doing some research, I found only very expensive resorts. So, I abandoned my plans, and went somewhere else instead.
If there are reasonable places to stay, maybe I will go to The Maldives soon. I'm definitely more interested now ...
Thank you.. there are lots of local islands that you can stay for an affordable price and the standard are actually good.. compared to philipines etc.. the most famous one is maafushi but it has been getting so popular since then and now getting very crowded. but there are still a varieties of island choices that are still peaceful and quiet. From Thailand, the airticket is also a great deal!
Beautiful video and photos. Bring me with you next time you go.
thank you and okay!
