Abolitionist Abstractions Vlog 82: Making some headway with the locals
Here is today's vlog! After I finished recording yesterday's vlog, I decided to continue hiking through the park that I had found. That may have not been the best idea as I wasn't very prepared, it was rather hot, and I managed to injure myself a bit. Luckily I eventually sorted myself out and made it back to the Element. If Murder Dog had been with me, I'm fairly certain that she would have been laughing at me...
Once my buddy got home from work, we headed off to grab some dinner. After we returned and he headed to bed, I ended up making friends with one of the stray cats in the complex. As much as I do love dogs, I still have a soft spot for felines and it was fun to chill out with such a friendly little one. Murder Dog, however, was not as big of a fan...
Today I had to head back to the Honda dealership to have the work finished on the Element. While I was waiting there, I was made aware of a very sad story about a fellow van nomad who just recently had all of his possessions, including his home/vehicle, destroyed in an unfortunate parking accident. I am going to put the link to his GoFundMe in the show notes, as he could definitely use a hand. I could easily see some other similar tragedy befalling me and Murder Dog, so my heart goes out to the guy. Hopefully he can get back on his feet soon!
