TOP 5 FREE PLACES TO VISIT IN LA
One of the most popular cities that travelers visit is the city of angles, "Los Angles" It is known for its golden, beaches, expensive shopping, and the Hollywood life. After living in LA for the past 5 years. I would like to share what are the top free places must visit while you are visiting Los Angeles.
- The first one is Santa Monica Pier.
It is one of the most popular city attraction for all the visitors, you can enjoy the fresh air from the ocean and the walk on the pier. There is no charge to access the pier, but if you want to play the roller coaster and different carnival games it will cost between $10-40 per person. Also, they have Ice cream places and restaurants. It is an ideal place to have fun with loved ones. I usually go for a run in the morning and I pass by it almost every day.
- 3rd street promenade Santa Monica
This part of the street is only for people to walk. It is like an open mall. It is known for its street performance. They agive a great performance for a little tip. Such as singers, dancers, and actors. Also, there are coffee shops, restaurants bars, and shopping stores. Many people just come to walk there and enjoy the performances of the street artists.
This is a beautiful sunset from the street.
- LACMA, Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
To visit LAMCA lights and enjoy the walk in the museum park is free. Also, the museum let students in with a discount as low as $10. Many people just come to take pictures with amazing urban looking lights.
- The famous Hollywood sign.
You can look at the Hollywood sign from different places from the city, but there is a 6 miles round trip hike to the Hollywood sign many people do the hike when they visit LA. I would recommend going early in the morning so you could be able to find parking and enjoy the hike with fewer people.
- LA art district.
If you are a kind of person who enjoys modern graffiti art. LA art district is the perfect place for you. There are so many arts on the wall that you will enjoy. One of the famous ones is the angel's wings.
Many people come to take pictures in between these wings. Also, there are so many different local coffeeshop and bars. if you are a coffee person you would really enjoy the area.
