Have you thought of visiting the north of the Maghreb where beauty and fun? In this article we have brought together different programs for you to visit the north of Morocco and tour a number of different Moroccan cities such as Fez, Tangier and Chefchaouen.

So I booked the plane to spend one week in Morocco. Where will you go and what will you see?

It can be the hardest decision to take and indeed one week is not enough time to see the entire country.

I know many travelers who have tried to visit multiple cities in one week.

They often leave, angry, and tired. Morocco is a large country, and point-to-point mobility often takes much longer than seen on the map.

I have put three different programs to spend one week in Morocco where you can benefit from your time easily Travel to the city of Marrakech,

South Morocco or Fez in the north to make the most of your time and enjoy a wonderful experience.

These programs will give you enough time to explore Morocco without feeling tired and tired.

Morocco in a week: northern Morocco
Arrival: Casablanca / Fez / Tangier
Fez has a small airport and you can get a flight from Europe directly to Fez or a trip to Casablanca then to Fez.

In terms of distance from Casablanca to Fez between 3 to 4 hours by car. Have dinner in Riyadh / hotel for the first night ..

If you have time on the first evening you get to know the vicinity of your residence.

Try to go to sleep at the time you go where you are at home. This will help you adjust to the timing difference.

You can also adjust the route to reach Tangier via the ferry from Spain.

Day Two - Fez
With a day in the city to make the most of it, book a guide to guide you through the ancient streets or spend the day yourself and explore the place depending on what type of traveler you are.

There are a few places that you should try to visit and you are in Fez

Mosque of the villagers - non-Muslims are not allowed to enter the mosque itself, but they can enter the new library (built in the seventh century).
The synagogue of Ibn Danan is another remnant of the history of Fez, which was later restored.
This synagogue is located in the Jewish Quarter and is privately owned but open to the public.

If you are in the navigator area you can visit the Jewish cemetery. If you are with a guide, it will help you add a lot of history and background to this area.
Tanneries. Yes, you've seen photos and really you should go to see it, at least once.
Do not be sad not to buy leather goods from shops. You can get better deals elsewhere.

Sevrain Market - This is a metal manufacturing area in the market where you can see craftsmen making metal goods in the same way and for many generations. It's a small area but really interesting.
Resin - this neighborhood near the Sevrain market. You will find mostly Moroccans in this region,
But there are plenty of food stalls and small shops to sell all things. There are also great views of the hills in Fes.

Noor - For dinner at my friend's restaurant, the new chef Kanaj is in building number seven.
Day 3 Fez - Departure to Chefchauen in the afternoon
Marinain tombs - the ruins and ruins of tombs overlooking the city of Fez. There are people buried here but there are no signs to see who they were.
Jinan Sabil - This is a large park in Fez. It's really nice if you want to practice some sport in the early morning.
Bab Boglod - He is considered a creative landmark. Inside the door you can find many different restaurants. Many of them cater to the needs of tourists.
Chefchaouen is located 3 to 4 hours drive from Fez if you have a car or a private driver or will board the bus.

You should leave in the middle of the afternoon until you arrive before dinner.

Day 4 - Chefchaouen
chefchaouen-blue-city.jpg

There is not much to see in Chefchaouen next to the dazzling blue color that everyone comes to see.

It's a relatively small town you can spend your time wandering around and taking many photos.

If you are more active and have good weather you can go see the waterfalls.

This part of Morocco is in the heart of the area where you wish for drugs. Do not be surprised if you are offered drugs there.

Day 5 - Chefchaouen leaves for Tangier in the evening
This day decide whether you prefer to spend another day in Chefchaouen to relax and add a day to Tangier or Fez. It's a matter you will depend on your choice.

Day Six - Tangier
Kasbah - This was the original fortified city of Tangier. Inside you can visit the Kasbah Museum, which houses the remains of those who lived in the area centuries ago.
Museum of the American Commission - Morocco was the first country to recognize American independence in 1776.
The building was the first American public property outside the United States of America. Today it is a cultural center, museum and library.

During the Second World War it was home to CIA agents.

Zoko Shiku - is the name of the main square in the city. It's basically the heart of the city.
Cinema Reef - a non-profit theater featuring the latest films produced in Morocco, the region and the first cinema center in North Africa. All offers are posted on their website.
The Library of Columns (Librarie des Colonnes) - is a small independent library that has books in many languages.
They are perfect for book lovers or if the weather is not very good, it is a good place to spend some time.

Cafe Culture - Tangier has a really great cafe. In the city and the castle you will not disappoint if you go there and asked for tea and I spent some time reading or watching people.
Day 7 Tangier - Afternoon
Spartil Head and Hercules Cave - On your way out of Tangier. It is 15 minutes outside the city.
It is alleged that this cave is the place where Hercules settled during the completion of his twelfth work.

The cave was opened in the form of the African continent and this in itself is very wonderful. Admission to the cave is AED 5.

Beach and Corniche - go early in the morning to walk on the beach or the Corniche. Watching the sunrise over the Mediterranean Sea.
